Continuing in my series of ridiculous things the kids fight over....
Lately, the fight has been over who gets to empty the dryer lint trap.
When they hear the dryer buzz, there is a race to the dryer to see who gets there first. It is usually Nathan, so then Elizabeth cries and cries and says she wants to be the one to get to do the lint.
As usual, I had to make the rule that Nathan gets to retrieve the lint on odd days, and Elizabeth gets to retrieve the lint on even days.
At least they are attempting to do laundry, I guess.
It's not as bad as the fights over the dried up playdoh or the carpet fuzz.
