Hail

We had a crazy hailstorm on the same day as the tornado! Elizabeth wanted to feel the hail. 

Earthquake, Tornado, Hail!

Today was a crazy day!

We had an actual tornado touch down here in the Tri Cities!

Boise had a huge earthquake that scared Auntie LeAnne a lot! It was a 6.5. We didn't feel it here.

We had hail this afternoon coming down.

Hand sanitzer

We have never kept a lot of hand sanitizer around, but now it's impossible to find in the stores. We wanted to get some for when we have to go out grocery shopping. Elizabeth spend some time mixing alcohol and aloe vera to make some hand sanitizer! 

Restaurant Meat

A local restaurant had to shut down due to coronavirus. The owners had to get rid of all their meat. Jeremy was in the know and we got 6 pork loins and a box of chicken! The owners ultimately decided to just retire

Haircut

Elizabeth was needing a haircut. Then, the stay at home order came out. We knew we wouldn't be able to take her for a haircut for awhile. Jeremy watched a YouTube video on how to cut a little girl's hair. He did a great job!! I was seriously very impressed. 

We already cut the boys hair here at home so that won't be an issue. Eventually, I will need a haircut so that is going to be a problem! 

Social Distancing playdate

With social distancing, Elizabeth has playdates by talking across the street. 

Postcard from the President

We got a postcard from the President! It was to inform us about everything coronavirus related at the time. 

Last Blast of Snow

Winter threw us our last blast of snow on March 14th.  Luckily, it was on the weekend so there was not a delay. It was also the day after school shut down for 6 weeks for Coronavirus. 

Awards Assembly

Elizabeth received an academic award at the last assembly. Usually, I email and ask the Vice Principal to send me the close up photo she takes, but since school is now cancelled, I don't have the good picture. So these pictures from the back of the gym are the best I will get for now. Hopefully I will get the close up good picture eventually.

Sunday Surprises

The day after we set our clocks back, we had a fun surprise. Uncle Brian flew over to visit and bring Jeremy some tools! 

After Uncle Brian got here, we had some ice cream and a quick trip to the park. Then, he had to head back home since he only rented his plane for a short period of time. 

He had to do all his checks before he left to make sure everything was working properly. We watched him do a few minutes of that. 

It was a lovely day to fly!
