Elizabeth's 10th birthday party

Elizabeth had her 10th birthday party at our house. There was no blizzard this year so everyone could come with no weather problems!!!

She designed some games for the girls to play and ran the games. They played games outside for a while!

They came in and opened presents.

Her theme this year was teal and donuts. Teal balloons and even teal cupcakes! We also had donuts.

See her teal cupcake and donut?

She opened a few more presents from the family while the girls played outisde.

A cute unicorn from Kim and Ray!

Uncle Brian and Aunt Karen were able to make it! A lot of family came, but I didn't do as well taking pictures this year. Papa Ray and Kim, Grandma Pam, Papa Norm and Gram and Auntie Laura were all here as well! Muppy came along too. I do not think Muppy was a big fan of 10 screaming 10 year olds.

Elizabeth at 10

Elizabeth is 10

She is 66 pounds and 4' 7.5" tall. She usually sleeps about 9-10 hours a night. She usually goes to sleep at 9:30 or sometimes 10:00. I wake her up in the morning for school around 7:30.

Her favorite foods are bacon, noodles, mustard, chicken and yellow rice, burritos, mac and cheese, eggs, cheese ravioli, donuts  and chocolate candy This is mainly what she eats. She doesn't like any vegetables. She likes a few fruits.  She does not get a lot of variety in her diet and she refuses to eat most foods. Therefore, she continues to be quite thin!

She's having a good school year! She's in 4th grade and really likes her teacher and her class. Her class is mostly boys this year. 15 boys and 8 girls. Luckily, she says most of the boys are pretty good. She is friends with pretty much all the girls in her class. She makes friends very easily.  She's really picked up reading more chapter books this year. She loves Land of Stories and The Tally Series.

Her eczema is finally quite a lot better! Usually, we are in the worst part of winter right now and her hands and feet would be scratched up and bleeding. However, they are just a little dry and not bad at all!!  Her food allergies have remained the same. Peanuts, sunflower seeds, and some tree nuts.

Her favorite subject at school is writing and her least favorite subject is math. She does well in all her subjects- even the math she doesn't like!

She still likes to play with Nathan when he will play with her. He's bigger now and doesn't want to play as much. They play Squishemellows together and she likes to play legos with him. She really enjoys squishemellows and legos. They are her favorite toys and what she asks for most for her birthday and Christmas.

Some of her favorite friends are Charlotte and Maliree.

She continues to be quite active and you don't see her sitting still for long! She does sit around reading more than she used to since she's gotten more into chapter books. Her favorite way of moving about the house is somersaulting around. She somersaults up and down the hallways when she needs to go back and forth.

She is in the Unicycling Club at school. They work on unicycling, walking on stilts and juggling. She says she's getting good at doing all those things. She doesn't play any other sports otherwise. She says she isn't interested. She would rather play at home with her Legos and play outside with the kids on the street.

Her favorite color is still teal!

The picture about was at the racquet club. She loves to see her birthday every year! She was in her swimsuit because she was going to swim while Nathan had tennis lessons.
