Nathan had his piano recital today. I took a video of him playing his songs but didn't get a picture of him sitting at the piano. Here is the teacher and her students.

Fun with Auntie Laura
Auntie Laura came down for one of her "Fun" visits. Usually, they go to Disney on Ice, but Disney on Ice did not come this fall. They stuck with the bigger cities and skipped us this year.
So, Auntie Laura took them to see the new Peanuts movie! The kids weren't sure they could go at first because they didn't know if the movie was about peanuts. When I explained it was Charlie Brown, they got less nervous.
They said it was a very cute movie. After the movie, Auntie Laura took them to Barnes and Noble to pick out a book!
Well, that didn't exactly happen. As you can see, Nathan came home with FIVE stuffed animals and zero books. Elizabeth came home with 2 stuffed animals and 2 books. Auntie Laura said she was weak and that Nathan loves stuffed animals so much she couldn't resist. She figures he won't be into stuffed animals for much longer, so why not?
He got a new tiger, leopard, fox, and a mother and baby owl.
Elizabeth got these cute little sparkly eyed creatures.
Hugging Auntie Laura before she left. They are so big these days, you can't even see Auntie Laura!
Before bed, Nathan gave all his new stuffed animals their checkups and introduced them to the family. Then, he started thinking of names. Good luck Gram!

11/11
Here's what we're up to today on Veteran's Day. It's a gorgeous day so the kids are outside playing.
I picked more tomatoes to bring inside and then had Jeremy help me with an experiment Grandma Pam suggested. He hung one of our tomato vines inside the garage upside down. The tomatoes are supposed to ripen. It's really supposed to freeze tonight. Elizabeth picked the last remaining strawberries and Nathan ate the last raspberry.
However, I've been up since 4:00. Nathan woke me up and said he'd thrown up in his bed. Jeremy had just gotten home was kind enough to clean that up. I couldn't go back to sleep after that so as I was just hanging out reading at 5, Nathan came back out and said he thought he was going to throw up again. So I helped him throw up and cleaned all that up. We both went back to bed for a little while and he still managed to get up at his normal time of 7:30! He's feeling ok today. He said not great, but said he was going to take advantage of his day to play even if he's not feeling his best.
And yes, Elizabeth is still in her pajamas at 1:30. Hey, one less set of clothes I have to wash, right?
I hope she's not throwing up tonight!

Before the freeze...
It hasn't frozen here yet, but we anticipate it's going to happen any day! I wanted to take a last pictures of how much our plants grew this year so I can compare next year.
The kids had just walked home from school so they still have on backpacks.
These shrubs grew pretty well and should look really nice next year!
This area needs some work next year.
Tomorrow I will pick all of my tomatoes...even the green ones! We'll see what will ripen in a paper bag. We've still got a few raspberries and strawberries to eat before it freezes too.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!
We celebrated Jeremy's birthday a few days ago. 36!
He had been wanting a Seahawks shirt.
He also wanted a portable wireless speaker to listen to music in the garage.
The kids wore some fun hats.
He's got his 3 and 6 candles.
I guess it was funny when he blew out the candles.
