We have lived in our house for about 8 years. The carpet was also 8 years old and needed to be replaced about 5 years ago. However, we were annoyed that it only lasted 3 years so we kept sticking with it!
When I started tripping over the rolls in the carpet consistently, we figured it was finally time to get new carpet. Since we were so disappointed with our last few types of carpet, we got very high quality carpet this time. It's so plush and soft! It really takes the echoes out of the house and makes it quiet. We just love it!
The carpet installers were amazing. They ripped out the old stuff so quickly and then put the padding in. They were so fast! I managed to snap a few pictures of the work. Here's the new padding.

Jeremy and Elizabeth marveled at how soft and amazing and plush the new carpet is. Walking on it barefoot is just heavenly!
