We went up to Royal this past weekend. Apple harvest was in full swing. We picked a lot of apples to bring home to dry. Thank goodness that at this point, no one is yet allergic to apples!
First, we picked granny smiths from the trees that had already been picked. We figured 4 bucket was good enough.
Later, we went to pick a few Fujis. We also picked 4 buckets of those. We figure 8 buckets will be a good amount of apples to dry for the winter!
The bucket was just SO heavy.
