Cub Scouts

Jeremy did a great lesson tonight in Cub Scouts. He brought his car over from work and gave the boys a lesson about the flag, uniforms, and police work. It was excellent! 

Freeze

We had the first freeze last night. 

The kids thought the frost looked pretty. However, they lamented the fact that we had strawberries that were almost red that they wouldn't get to eat now. All the flowers are now dead. What will Elizabeth pick now? 

Fights

Fights happen around here quite regularly. 

One day after a particularly bad fight, I walked down the hall to find this. 

An arrow. Old Western style? 

2 Front Teeth Problems

The youngsters around here are having some problems with their two front teeth. 

One person has NO front teeth. 

The other person has braces on those two front teeth. 

I think it's funny. 

Birthday Bonfire

Jeremy took the kids up to Grandma Pam's for a "birthday bonfire." I wasn't feeling well so I didn't go. He only took THREE pictures for the whole day, so here they are. 

I told the kids Uncle Brian wouldn't be able to be there this year for the bonfire because Maine is WAY too far to come for a bonfire. 

Somehow, he showed up anyway. Elizabeth says she was SHOCKED but so, so happy he was there. 

Family Fun Night

The PTA put on a family fun night. There were fun activities to take part in. If you got through all the events, you won a candy bar. Nathan couldn't have the candy bar of course, so I got it! They also had a fun cakewalk where you would win a cupcake. He couldn't do that either, but Elizabeth got a cupcake!

Jeremy took pictures of them in the photo booth. Jeremy showed Elizabeth how to be silly but Nathan didn't get the lesson.

Nathan and Jeremy did a marshmallow toss game. 

Nathan wore his coonskin cap. The principal couldn't figure out what was wrong with his hair. It was pretty funny!

Charlotte and Elizabeth shoveled marshmallows from a bowl onto a bowl on their heads. Elizabeth won! 

They had a flipper race game. Here Elizabeth is racing in her flippers over to Jeremy. 

Jeremy raced back and they won!

Happy 37th birthday Jeremy!

We had a little birthday celebration for Jeremy. He is 37 now! 

He got to mow the lawn on his birthday! Isn't that exciting? Our lawn is the best it's ever looked. All that October rain did it some good! Jeremy also doesn't often wear shorts on his birthday. It was a very nice birthday. It was 67 degrees!

Our chrysanthemums are looking pretty.

It was such a beautiful day on his birthday! Actually, all week was beautiful and sunny and warm. I took some pictures walking home from school so I could try to get pictures of the pretty trees in the background. Cute kids in the picture are always a plus.
