We found out the day before this invite that Nathan was invited to go. They took the top 4 in each event and there were enough boys doing other events, hurt, etc that Nathan snuck into the top 4 of the 1600!! Grandma and Papa rushed down and made it 5 minutes before his race!
It was horrific weather. Cold and ridiculously windy. Hurricane force!

He crossed the finish line in 5:36. The wind really slowed him down and he blames it fully on that.
