We drove on some really windy and twisty roads to get from Crater Lake to Crescent City after we visited Crater Lake. I did not care for those roads! Here 's the Welcome to California sign! The kids got a new state and they let us keep our grapes. Good thing we didn't have cherries with us. Those, we might have had to forfeit at the fruit inspection.
We started to see some huge redwoods as we were driving into Crescent City.
We did some exploring.
When we got to Crescent City, the kids went to play on the beach! They hadn't been to the beach since last August on the East Coast. This water was quite a bit chillier....they didn't seem to care though and just played away!
