Yesterday was Bloomsday! The weather was so nice! Almost too nice. It was actually HOT during the race. How often does that happen?
Several months ago, we noticed Jeremy had Bloomsday off. This never happens. He decided to train with me this year. He mentioned it to his squad and they all decided to train for Bloomsday too!
Papa Norm and Gram very nicely offered to babysit for the night. So Saturday morning, we drove up to Royal and dropped the kids off. Then, we drove to Liberty Lake to stay with Laura and Pippa. Pippa had been freshly groomed and was smelling nice AND her fur was actually white! She got some petting and hugs from me.
Sunday morning, we drove to the Spokane Arena to park. Laura and Jeremy left to go find Jeremy's squad. They were all in the green group. I was in yellow so I waited by myself for the race to start.
