2026 Hanford Graduation

Here are the photos I took with my phone during graduation.

The front filled up quickly but luckily Nathan was in the second to last row anyway! There was about half a row behind him. They filed in backwards by last name so he was one of the first in.

Here is his row heading up to get their diplomas.

Walking out to shake hands with school board members.

Walking back to his seat in the sea of purple.

Exiting the ceremony

Some family photos and videos afterwards

Nathan's family graduation BBQ

Nathan graduated high school on June 5th at 7:30. We had a family BBQ right before. Everyone came! Here are a bunch of photos I took.

This one was to actually show how pretty the hydrangeas look before the head takes them out and turns them crispy and brown.

We drove as many grandparents as we could fit since we knew it would be crowded and parking would be hard. We left at 6:10 with a hope of getting there at 6:30 just as all the Richland High people were leaving. It worked really well! We got a good spot as they were all leaving.  Nathan didn't have to be there until 6:50 but since we got there 20 minutes early, we got great seats where we could see him easily.

My third row riding partner.

Last Day of School 12th Grade

Nathan had his last day of high school!

We took these pictures right after he got home from school. At the end of the day, he got to go walk through the hallway of his old elementary school with other graduates who went to school there. Only one of his teachers is left teaching at that school so he did get to see her. He said it was really neat. I am still looking for some pictures of it. I didn't know parents were invited.

Track Awards night

The track team had their end of year banquet and awards ceremony

Here is Coach talking about all the distance runners. They are all lined up. Nathan lettered again this year since he made it to MCC Championships. He lettered in track for 2 years.

They also did a senior recognition where the seniors were brought up (with parents) and the coach talked a little about them and their future plans.

Pippa's Ice Cream Party

Pippa had an ice cream party. However, the party had a sad ending. Pippa had turned 14 in June. The lifespan of a doodle her size is 12-14...
