The kids ran at the MCC League Meet #2 at Lawrence Scott Park in Kennewick. Elizabeth ran the girls JV race and Nathan ran in the varsity race. This is a 3 mile course rather than the standard 5K so their times look faster than usual. It's a shorter course! Nathan ran the 3 miles in 17:37 and Elizabeth ran it in 23:41. Elizabeth's was a PR for 3 miles! Nathan missed a PR by a second. Darn!

Fans of the week!
Nathan had an injury right at the beginning of his race. He got a paper cut on his bib! He said it threw off his race brain and hurt the whole time. Sarah came to watch and she also had a cut so this is a picture of the cuts.
