Elizabeth and partner had a tennis match at Pasco High. They took the top 10 JV teams and our doubles team made the cut! They were the #10 ranked team so they got to go. Pasco had 10 girls JV teams.
There are about 25 doubles teams at Hanford so over half the girls don't even get to go to the majority of the meets. There are only two other schools that have teams big enough that all ours girls can play. We have the biggest tennis team in the league so the other schools simply don't have enough girls to play all of our girls.
They won 6-2! I didn't get many good photos of this one. It's really hard to take pictures through the chain link of the tennis courts. I got better at it as the season went on.
