The Met-Continued

We saw some Faberge eggs. They were beautiful!

They had rooms that were replicas of rooms in France and in the United States. The United States rooms were not nearly as fancy as the rooms in France.

Rooms from a French house

Look how plain the rooms were from the "fancy" homes in the early United Sates compared to France!  This dining table is much less ornate.

We made our way to the American wing to see George Washington Crossing the Delaware. We knew it was big, but it was really big!

A Stuart painting of George Washington.
