Elizabeth had been playing #2 singles but her coach thought she might be capable of more. He had her challenge the #1 singles player and Elizabeth won (it was very close) so she was bumped up to the #1 JV singles spot.
Chiawana came to play. Elizabeth played the #1 spot. It was the first league meet of the season so they played to 8.
Elizabeth won 8-2. Our team won the meet as well 7 to 1. We only lost a game by forfeit because one of our girls didn't come.
After she won, she was warming up with a friend for her match. Nathan was just leaving track practice. I don't get many pictures of them together in the spring when they are in different sports.
