Trip Day 7-Charleston, South Carolina

We left Savannah and headed toward a new state! It had cooled down a bit overnight with the huge storm that had passed through.

Heading over the bridge out of Savannah.

A new state! South Carolina!

It was interesting how the scenery totally changed when we crossed over into South Carolina.

It was so pretty!

We drove into Charleston.

This was a very pretty city. Laura and I decided it was our favorite city on our trip!

We made our way to the famous Pineapple Fountain!

Elizabeth thought this was great. Her best friend is named Charlotte so there was an intersection with their name and pretty flowers!

Laura and I strolled around some of the streets while the others hung out in the shade of the park. It was really hot outside again.

We loved seeing houses from the 1700 and 1800's. The style was so pretty.

This tiny pink house is probably the only one we could afford.

The next morning, we left Charleston and went over yet another big bridge!
