Today was the last day of school! The school year was pretty normal even with the pandemic still going on. There were a few things here and there that weren't normal. They were required to wear masks through the first half of the year and then masks became optional. Nathan continued to wear his the rest of the year anyway. There were problems with having enough bus drivers for sports. There were problems with finding substitute teachers because most of our subs are retired teachers and had no interest in coming back into classrooms with a pandemic going on. I don't blame them! I'm sure there were other little things but the kids coped and made adjustments. Elizabeth finished up 6th grade and Nathan finished up 8th grade! Next year, Nathan will move on to high school and Elizabeth will stay at the same school.
