Day 6 Road Trip-Minnesota

The pictures posted in a weird order again and I get tired of moving them around because then they all get uneven. Today, we drove from Fairmont Minnesota to Dubuque, Iowa. In this post, I will focus on Minnesota. It was probably our busiest day of the trip. We did a lot! Our first stop was Blue Earth, Minnesota. My great grandfather was born in Blue Earth so it was cool to see the place he was born before he moved to North Dakota. It was a very small town and it's tourist attraction was the Jolly Green Giant statue!  Then, we drove to Austin, Minnesota where we visited the SPAM museum. That was a fun little place! Here are the pictures.

One thing we will remember about our drive across South Dakota and Minnesota was how windy it was on those days.

SPAM has a food truck!

Nathan liked the SPAM rocket. It was quite expensive.

SPAM has a gift shop! Who knew?

Conveyer belt with little cans of SPAM running along the ceiling.

History of SPAM

SPAM is very popular in countries in the Pacific Ocean area and Asia. They had little booths where you could read about SPAM in the different countries. Here's the China booth.

Nathan fake burned his hand in the Korea booth.

They had a fun game where you could see how fast you could make SPAM on a conveyer belt.

Pretty pictures of Minnesota!
