He is 91 pounds and is 4'9". His stuffed animal collection is 156 stuffed animals and 157 heads (he has a 2 headed snake).
When he grows up, he wants to be either a vet on a ranch or inherit the Spragg farm and farm.
His favorite books are Fablehaven and Beyonders and Harry Potter.
His favorite show is My Little Pony and Star Wars THE Clone Wars. His favorite movies are the Star Wars films made by Lucas Films and NOT Disney. He also likes THE Clone Wars movie.
His favorite games to play are Star Wars games by himself and My Little Pony games with Elizabeth. He also likes to play chess.
He gained one new food intolerance this year. He now can't eat peas. He had eaten peas for 10 years with no problems. He continues to be allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts, kiwi, banana, pumpkin, and squash (including zucchini). I'm hoping peas will be the last thing! It's getting kind of ridiculous with him now adding all these fruits and vegetables that he used to be able to eat. His oral allergy syndrome also seems to be getting worse. That means there are several fresh fruits and vegetables he can't eat or he gets an itchy mouth. He can, however, eat them cooked. The ones that really bother him are melons, carrots and avocado. Jeremy also has oral allergy syndrome and has been doing allergy shots. It's really helped him. Perhaps in the future, Nathan will do the allergy shots and we will see if they help him.
He's had a terrible bout with a staph infection that began at the end of May. He takes antibiotics and it goes away. Then, a week later, it returns. He just finished a round not quite a week ago and his skin looks good. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it's finally gone.
He has a permanent retainer behind his top teeth now. He had the best teeth in the 4th grade after all that orthodontic work he had to go through! He has to go back to get rechecked when he is 12.
His favorite thing to do is play with legos. He specifically likes to play with Star Wars legos. He also loves school and doing homework. He is very sad when school is not in session. He is a good student and does very well in reading and math. His teachers tell us he is very respectful and a delight to have in class. He's very helpful and nice to all of the other students.
Here are some things he doesn't like:
1. Broken lego pieces that ruins the set.
2. Dressing up nice
3. Clothes shopping
4. Smoke and heat.
He continues to take piano lessons. His piano teacher will be moving soon and when she moves, he is going to be done. Elizabeth will continue with a new teacher.
He enjoys tennis now! He will continue with tennis lessons when school is back in session.
He starts 5th grade in 2 weeks! That is quite hard to believe.
