Spring Break Road Trip Day 6-Monument Valley

After we said goodbye to the Grand Canyon, we drove through Monument Valley on Highway 163. Unfortunately, the park itself was closed since it's on the Navajo Nation. So we got to see some of Monument Valley from afar. More big rocks! I'm sure inside the park was much better, but the Navajo weren't open yet.

This place is called "Forrest Gump Hill" because it's the place where Forrest stops running in the movie. They make you slow down to 30 on this stretch of road because everyone is trying to take pictures of the scenery in the background that was in the movie. So we took pictures from the middle of the road as well!
