Some pictures in front of Hogwarts
Elizabeth inside Ollivanders with the wand that chose her!
Ollivanders had a lot of wands!
We went in some cute little shops. We didn't buy anything though because we were so outraged at the prices. Buying a t-shirt for each of us would have been $38 each! I was not willing to spend $150 for 4 t-shirts. We wanted to get Ravenclaw shirts for Nathan and I, a Gryffindor one for Jeremy, and a Hufflepuff one for Elizabeth.
After Elizabeth's wand chose her, she could walk around Hogsmeade doing spells. I think there were around 20 spots where she could do magic. Here, at Madam Puddifoot's, if she performed the spell correctly, the teapot would pour tea and the cups would spin.
A spell made these cakes spin!
Working on her spells.
I thought it was funny that you could see Elizabeth's reflection in the poster of Sirius!
The backstreets of Hogsmeade. Luckily, we met no dementors!
Honeydukes! This was sure a colorful place.
They had pretty much all the candies mentioned in the books. We only bought a little package of rock candy.
Zonkos had some gross stuff. We did not buy these!
The conductor of the Hogwarts Express wanted us to make funny poses.
The owlery looked like you would expect!
Hagrid's ridiculous Monster Book of Monsters was there and it would actually move and snap at you. That's why it was in a cage!
The shops all had the cutest windows! I spent most of my time looking in them.
Elizabeth doing more spells.
