We drove into Crater Lake National Park from the north side. There was not one person on the whole road. We entered the park but there was no one at the gate so we just drove through. It was so empty and quiet in the evening with no one there! It was really cold out. With the wind blowing, it was probably down into the teens or 20's. We took a few pictures outside but did not stay out for long!
It was so quiet and empty in this valley.
As we headed up to the top of the crater, we found a lot of snow! It was the first day of summer so it was amazing to find so much snow!
When we actually got to Crater Lake, the sun was going down so the lake didn't look as blue as it was supposed to. There were a few people up on that rim, but it was so cold that was probably why no one was there.
We found more snow on our way back down to the cabin we stayed at for the night. It was called the Manzana Cabins and they were great! It was so nice and quiet.
