Seattle Science Center

We spent a fun morning at the Science Center. We paid for parking for 5 hours and thought that would be more than enough time. Well, it wasn't!

They had a glass elevator.

Imax movie about butterflies.

Elizabeth was delighted to find a sink just her size. No stool required!

Nathan loved the dinosaur exhibit!

A decent family photo in front of the fighting dinosaurs.

More cool robotic dinosaurs.

The moving dinosaurs actually made Nathan and Elizabeth a bit nervous.

Some fun space stuff.

We find a lot of praying mantises in the Tri-Cities. The kids think they're pretty cool. But we sure don't grow them as big as Seattle does!

Inside the butterfly house. She's watching the butterflies feed on fruit.

That is a lot of bees!

Mirrors that made them giggle.

Many parts of the Science Center exhibits were a bit old for Elizabeth. But she was quite content sitting in her stroller talking to her maps. I could hear her talking about all the ways to get to her imaginary friends' houses.
Looking at fish in the butterfly house.

Once we found the toddler area, she was very pleased. All the toys were aimed for children her size. Blocks, water toys, musical toys to bang on...

They enjoyed the big water guns and said they were shooting at the Space Needle.

There were many cool little exhibits like this that were aimed at the 6+ crowd. Nathan enjoyed a lot them. Jeremy enjoyed them more.
