The kids loved the hotel! We made sure to get a hotel with a pool (freezing of course). I also made sure we had a microwave and fridge in the room since we don't/can't eat at restaurants due to the food allergy issue. We packed lunches and snacks for our daily activities and ate dinner in our hotel room at night.
There was a lot of jumping in the hotel. They quickly discovered the jumping between the beds game.
More jumping-this time into the pool.
The pool was freezing! Jeremy was brave enough to get in the first night. The second night, we just let them play in there alone. They had their floaties on so they were just fine. They just kept jumping in over and over.
Another fun thing about hotels is watching TV shows you don't get to watch at home. These kids think there are only 5 channels since we've never had cable. At the hotel, they discovered Spongebob Squarepants. Spongebob has given me a reason to never get cable. What an annoying little sponge!
After long days, they still didn't fall fast asleep. They lay awake wiggling and talking for a LONG time the nights we were there. Nathan always fell asleep first after Elizabeth stopped talking and bothering him. Once they fell asleep, they stayed asleep though so that was good.
