The kids had their last meet of the year at the MCC Championships. Neither kid moved on to districts. They took 9 to districts. Elizabeth did finish 9th in this race with 25:39, but the coaches had already decided on which 9 they would take before the race so unfortunately, she didn't get to go. Neither child ran a PR here. Both don't like this course and it's both of their least favorites even though it's their home course! Nathan ran an 18:48 so didn't make the top 9 to move on as 9 ran faster than him.

Elizabeth had a great race and managed to catch 3 of her teammates in the final stretch to finish as the 2nd Falcon home in the JV race.
Here she is sprinting to the finish. I'll post the video of this as well. I've never seen her so thrilled as ever this race!

The Moms had a senior recognition. Between all the Moms, we got them balloons, flower leas, candy and snacks. I made them personalized magnets and Senior invitations with their pictures on them. The coaches gave a little speech about each one.
