After weeks of a rolled ankle and shin splints, Elizabeth was finally feeling up to running in a race. She ran with her team at Carmichael.

I think it's funny that she and other girl next to her from another school (also named Elizabeth) were both smiling at me in this picture. Maybe they were grimaces. I don't know.
According to her coach, she ran an 8:04 first mile. Then, she got hit with terrible cramps as everyone's favorite time of the month decided to start. She walked most of the second mile.
She still managed to spring to the finish!
She ran a 20:19 for 2 miles and got 23rd place. It was a PR for her!
