Mount Rainier National Park-Paradise-Myrtle Falls trail

I've lived in Washington for 41 years and had NEVER been to Mount Rainier! We decided to go! We still had Elizabeth's "All 5th Graders in a National Park" free pass that we used on Spring Break so we decided to use it again.  Luckily, it was a beautiful day on Mt. Rainier. It often is not! It was also Grandma Pam's birthday!

We were told to get there early because the parking gets very full. We were at the entrance just after 8 am on a Monday. We had spent the night in Eatonville.

It was a very beautiful drive up to Paradise.

The parking lot still had lots of empty spots when we got there.

We decided to hike to Myrtle Falls since we've heard it's very beautiful.

It was very beautiful!

We then just kept hiking up through the pretty wildflowers just to see how high we could get and what a pretty view we would see.

When we started to get hungry for lunch, we turned around and went back down.

Elizabeth found some snow near the Visitor's Center.

The kids and I on the bridge at Myrtle Falls.

Here come the selfie stick pictures!
