Jeremy often feels like he is a "Daddy Lion." We often see pictures of baby lions crawling all over the Dad lion. Jeremy always has people jumping on him too.

Finding Leaves
We have half days of school this week due to conferences. There will be more time to do fun stuff!
We went down to the park today to collect leaves for a leaf book. Our trees aren't big enough to have many big, good leaves yet!
They brought their swords to chop down leaves apparently.

Worn out from all these doctor's appointments!
Here is Elizabeth at the eye doctor. I wanted to get her in for her first check up after what happened with Nathan. I still feel badly we didn't catch his vision problems earlier.
The eye doctor said her vision is great. No problems. We'll just bring her in every year to keep an eye on it.
Elizabeth wanted me to list her busy month of October doctor's appointments.
1. Dental Checkup
2. Sealants on baby teeth
3. Allergy doctor appointment
4. Blood draw to check status of allergies
5. Flu Shot
6. Eye doctor
That is a busy month for a 4 year old!

November 8
It was a beautiful day out today so we headed off to Nathan's school to watch the kids play! The weather is supposed to make a turn for the COLD in a few days so outside playtime will be more limited.
Nathan says he sat like this all last recess. Interesting. He calls this toy the "staples" since it looks like staples.
He said this is the first toy he ever played on as a kindergartner.
Some balance beam routines.
Jeremy is standing on top of Nathan on the staples.
Elizabeth sliding. The kids had a hilarious game going that is probably NOT allowed at recess.
It looks like they are on this HUGE hill, when in fact they are not.
Rolling down the hill.
Halfway through a roll.

Happy 35th Birthday Jeremy!
Jeremy is 35 today! We got him his favorite kind of cake (a cheesecake). He got a new sander for his birthday and an expensive coffee. The kids made him cute cards too. Plus, he got to eat pizza for lunch!

Disney on Ice
Disney on Ice came to town again! Auntie Laura came down to take them again. They had such fun last year, she wanted to do it again. It was the day after Halloween so it's been a very exciting weekend!
Elizabeth put on her Snow White princess dress, crown, and sparkly shoes.
They were enthralled as usual.
A picture Auntie Laura took before the show.
Elizabeth's friend from preschool was sitting right behind them. What a coincidence!! DeAnna was Elsa.
Laura took a picture of the villains out on the ice. The kids weren't scared a bit of the bad guys.
Thank you for taking them Auntie Laura!

Halloween
The sunrise on Halloween was BEAUTIFUL!!!
After lunch on Halloween, we went to the "Mad Scientist Party" in the 1st grade. Jeremy and I helped out with one of the experiment stations. Our station made ice cream! Nathan's teacher is allergic to milk so she understands his issue. She bought almond milk for him to make the ice cream with!!
As you can see from the right side of this picture, there was an honorary 1st grader present at the party. Her name was Elizabeth and she did just beautifully rotating through all the science stations. At this station, they created "skeletons" out of q-tips. She also enjoyed the oobleck station and the oil/water station. And of course the ice cream station! She ate all of that up!
When we got home from school, we cleaned up the house and porch, had an early dinner, and the kids got their costumes on!
Thor has an intense pose. Tinkerbell thought she had to pose as well since she likes to do what big brother does.
Tinkerbell's wand was a glow stick wand. Handy for Halloween!
I think they saw Superman.
We started trick r treating before it got dark. They were really good about taking turns ringing doorbells.
I kept making them pose in front of the beautiful sunset. It was a great day for sunrises and sunsets.
More sunset.
Elizabeth ran into her friend Ali from preschool. Isn't her witch's costume cute?
Our neighbor Charlotte was Elsa.
