Sorry, but here are more pictures of my pinkish hydrangeas. I just wanted to get pictures of them before the hot summer weather hit and made them wilt and looked burned. They look so pretty!

Pool Season
Well, the weather is super hot. The kids are in the pool. This is where they spend most of their days when they don't have school. They play and then eat all of the raspberries before I can get to them. And sometimes they have a big fight over someone splashing the other.

Spring Piano Recital
Nathan had his spring piano recital yesterday. He's now been playing the piano for a year!
Here's the group photo. It was taken after the recital. He had been wearing a tie, but he doesn't like ties so he took it off right after he finished performing.
He wanted a picture with his piano teacher Miss Karen.

Shade Tree
The tree in our front yard that was planted 3 years ago finally gives off enough shade that one person can sit in the shade! In this case, we managed to squish 3 people (two who are quite small) mostly in the shade. I did get a lot of good snuggles so I didn't complain.

A new way to bathe
The kids thought it was great fun to play in Papa's wheat field and then take a shower in the circle. It was freezing, but they thought it was just great fun!
They like to pretend they are tigers in the wheat.
Elizabeth zipped around the driveway on her bike. I could hear her humming and singing the whole time!
When the sun was setting, the wheat turned gold!
It was amazing how it looked green all day until the light hit it just right! It was so pretty!

Mustard!!!
Jeremy was working the holiday weekend so we drove up to visit Papa Norm and Gram at the farm for a few days. On the way up, we drove by a field of mustard seed! Little Miss Mustard is obsessed with mustard so we got out and took a picture. As you can see, it was a very blustery day!
While visiting, we also went to play at the school. Elizabeth is getting really good and fast at climbing to the top of things! Little monkey!
