Trip Day 3: Albany

The next day, we drove across New York state!

It was very beautiful. It looked like this pretty much the whole way.

We stopped at Wakeman Coffee Company in Sidney!

Our final stop for the day was Albany. After exploring, we decided this was our favorite state capitol building we've visited so far.

The plaza was really neat!!

This was the egg.

Overlooking Albany from the plaza.

There was a very neat state museum that we toured. We got there late in the day so had to rush through. This part of the museum was the 9/11 part.

Old Firetrucks!

This firetruck was from 1791!

A fake subway in the museum.

Sesame Street!

A cute duck. The duck had babies too! It was very adorable. The kids and Jeremy thought I was weird trying to take pictures of the duck family.

The plaza had the capitol building on one side and the museum on the other. Underneath was a whole underground tunnel that spanned the length of the whole thing! There was basically a mall underneath. Restaurants, businesses, and a post office. In bad weather, you could do a lot down there! Nice for the people who work at the capitol.

We spend the night at a hotel right near the Hudson River. We took an after dinner walk along the river.

It was a beautiful evening.

The next day, we took an elevator ride to the top of a very tall building at the plaza. You could see so far! It was such an amazing view.
