Nathan Biking, Jeremy walking

We use Life 360 to keep track of where everyone is. Sometimes, it makes me laugh with either how RIGHT or how WRONG it is. 

I looked at this picture of Nathan and laughed. It was one day after school when he was at Ping Pong Club. Yet, it said he was riding a bike inside the school at 1 mph.  I showed him later and he said, yes that was correct. There was a bike he was riding around in the hallway during Ping Pong club! 

The next one was very wrong. It said Jeremy was walking 36 mph. I think sometimes when he is in his patrol car driving slowly, it thinks he is walking. 

 

Hermiston Kiwanis Twilight Invite

 

Nathan got invited to run the 1600 at the Hermiston Twilight Invite. He got put in the fast heat again. He ran a 5:08.  

He loved that the track is now purple! 

It was a very windy race. Hard to catch your breath going into that wind! 

Nathan was at the back of the pack for this race, but it was the fastest heat so that was great! 

Nathan League Meet #3 at Richland High School

 Nathan's league meet was at Fran Rish. He ran the 1600, 200 for training, and threw the discus. The weather was crazy! It started out rainy, then the wind rushed in. Then it got sunny. Then, it got as still as can be!

Here's his 200. He fell across the finish line. His legs had nothing left. He ran about 26 seconds. 

He threw the discus 70 feet, 8 inches. 

Elizabeth Meet McLoughlin 4/24-Discus PR!

Elizabeth's team traveled to McLoughlin in Pasco. She got a PR in the Discus!

Go! She doesn't like pictures of herself actually running so I leave those out unless she tells me I can post them.  She ran the 400 in 1:15. The athletic.net people somehow left her time out of the official records so I don't have them. Luckily, they DID post her discus PR! 58 feet, 2 inches! 

 

Elizabeth Meet Hermiston-400 PR

Libby track headed down to Hermiston today. They only competed against ONE other team so the meet flew by!  Most of the competitors were Libby kids. Elizabeth had a PR in the 400 of 1:15!!!!

You see 2 handoffs in this picture. Elizabeth gets the baton for her 200 on the backstretch. Then, she hands it off to the girl running the 400 at the end of the video. They ran it in 2:21. She also threw the discus. I don't have pictures of that. 

 

Nathan League Meet #2 at Hanford-1600 PR!

 Nathan had a league meet with Kamiakin and Kennewick. He ran both the 1600 and 3200 and threw the discus. 

He got a HUGE PR in the 1600!!! He ran a 5:01. He was ecstatic and so were we. When the 3200 came around, his legs were dead after that effort in the 1600. He ran a 12:02. After this effort, on shaking legs, he went and threw the discus. He was the very last one to throw. He made it over just before they were going to close up and be done!

After the 3200, he headed over to discus and threw 68 feet. 

My friend has a much better camera and takes photos from inside the track so hers are very good! Here was a photo from his 1600.
