Elizabeth's birthday party this year fell on Superbowl Sunday. Is it just me or is the Superbowl getting pushed back later and later every year? My theory is if they push it back just ONE more week, it will be President's Day weekend. This will probably happen someday.
We had the party on Superbowl Sunday anyway. She had Solo and Ensemble the day before. We had the party on a Sunday morning so the kids could all get home for their Superbowl parties if needed.
The group of her closest friends was all able to make it even on a weird day at a weird time! We were so happy!
They did a fun painting activity. They all started with a canvas and painted for 5 minutes. Then, every 5 minutes, they passed the canvas down and the next person painted on it for 5 minutes. They got their first canvas back at the end and all friends had contributed!
Presents with friends!
The final products!
Nathan wondering why there are so many loud 14 year old girls at his house.
After the girls left, the family showed up. Auntie Laura brought Valentine's gifts for the kids!
We had more cupcakes and sang a song.
