They want a leash for Christmas

Apparently, playing with dog leashes is a great game. The kids had a great game of pretending they were dogs and pulling each other around on leashes.

Papa did not make a good dog. He would not follow Elizabeth's commands and just did whatever he wanted.

This dog was much better at just trotting around wherever Elizabeth went.

Then there were 2 dogs who both wanted to be walked at the same time. They ended up going different directions.

I got all mixed up in the leashes.

Finally got them all straightened out!

Laura, I guess they need leashes for Christmas.

Thanksgiving

We went up to Royal for Thanksgiving this year. Here are some of the exciting pictures from Thanksgiving Day!

Pippa wore her Thanksgiving bows. See how she models them?

Nathan got to drive  Papa Norm's brand new Kubota!

He could pull the steering wheel right up to his level!

Off they go!

Elizabeth waving.

More pictures of Pippa posing. This is her special ottoman.

Elizabeth got to drive too!

Heading out!

Guess Who was played.

Pippa had a nap.

More Guess Who.

Pippa posed as she sniffed the wind.

Or maybe it was turkey she smelled. Jeremy carved it up quite nicely!

Laura was the gravy expert.

Nathan set the table.

Elizabeth ate olives and did her olive dance.

A picture at dinner.

The west side of the table.

The East side of the table.

Pippa had a ride.

Uncle Brian made a surprise appearance!

He made Nathan a nice hat.

Uncle Brian riled up the kids a bit.

They smashed and bashed.

Auntie Laura was a bit more calming. They snuggled in their footie jams.

It's hard to hold that big one!

Gram read stories.

And...Pippa stared at Laura. She stares at Laura all the time. It's hilarious!

Apple Cup Fun!

We got on all our cougar clothes! Nathan has decided he is a Husky fan so he is not included in the picture.

Elizabeth's preschool teacher is a Cougar alum so we got a nice picture.

Elizabeth's little friend Ali also has Cougar parents so she was dressed in the right colors too! Elizabeth wanted her to be in our family photo. I guess if Nathan won't join in, we'll substitute!

Elizabeth funnies

She likes to dress up at a princess every day. She puts on a dress, jewelry, fancy shoes, and a crown.

We found this life size princess at Target. She will not be getting it for Christmas...

She did; however, get a new package of socks at Target. She proceeded to put on ALL 10 pairs of socks. Yes, they are all on her feet. She then thought it would be funny to put on every pair of underwear she owns. She couldn't get anymore on, so she started putting them on her head like a hat. Then, she put on her mittens. She couldn't get any more pairs of mittens on, so she stuck them in her undies.

Another day, another princess dress up.

Get Air Trampoline Park

We went to a fun party at the local trampoline place. It was hard to get photos that weren't blurry!

Elizabeth climbing. She did a lot of great jumping I didn't get pictures of.

Nathan jumped into the foam pit.

A Bonfire at Grandma Pam's

We went up to Ellensburg for Jeremy's birthday bonfire. We had a GREAT day. I took a ton of pictures! It was FREEZING cold out, but the wind wasn't blowing and the sky was blue so it was a good day for a bonfire. The bonfire kept us warm!

Grandma Pam prepared a Mongolian Grill style lunch for us. It was fantastic.

Jeremy got some new clamps for his birthday. Elizabeth couldn't get them open. She was trying hard!

Nathan managed to get them open and pinched Uncle Brian's finger.

This was a cute Elizabeth photobomb. She was the only one who knew the picture was being taken. This is what happens if you give Brian your camera.

There's the pile ready to burn!

Folding up the tarp.

Grandma Pam's pond was frozen solid and the ice was THICK. Even this worried Mom wasn't worried it was so thick. The kids LOVED the frozen pond. It looked like glass and they could see everything underneath. It wasn't wet either.

Grandma Pam gave them new hats and gloves! Aren't they great?

Walking on the ice

They figured out they could "swim."

Jeremy swimming

Everyone swimming

They found 4 eggs in the chicken house!

Grandma Pam had raked a lot of leaves. You might be able to see a blue dot and a pink dot in all those leaves!

Uncle Brian tossed Elizabeth in.

Nathan chilling in the pile of leaves.

Jeremy dumping diesel all over.

Waiting for the signal to start the fire.

They lit it.

It got out of control quite quickly. Luckily we had a firefighter and a low pressure hose...They managed to keep it under control.

Jeremy tossing in old pallets.

The kids liked sliding rocks all over the ice.

Rock sliding

Uncle Brian was brave and stepped right into the fire!

A family photo with tools.

Nathan was mad that Elizabeth wanted to stand on the rock with him so we told him he didn't have to be in the family photo.

We substituted with Uncle Brian.

Nathan read a book to Elizabeth and the cat.

Bonfire

Jeremy and Nathan went up to Ellensburg for a bonfire. Elizabeth was really sick and I stayed home with her. Jeremy took a few photos. Nath...
