May Clouds
We've had such amazing clouds lately! I love the little puffy clouds that go on as far as the eye can see.

House Updates 5/30
We have grass and trees in the front yard! It looks like we have a little green maple in the front yard.
There's a little red tree in the side yard. I think it might also be a maple of some kind.

Picking Cherries
We've got so many cherries to pick! We're determined to not let any go to waste.
Look who's up at the TOP of the ladder. Don't worry, Jeremy is right there below her. She wants to pick the cherries that are up high too.
He eats more than he picks.
This is our best cherry picker. He can reach the high ones.
Lots of cherries!
Just being cute as usual.
Look Mom, I'll eat this one too!

Mt. St. Helens explodes
If you put a hose in your volcano and let it bubble up, you can pretend it's Mt. St. Helens!
You can also step in a turtle full of water to wash off your feet when they are too sandy.

House Updates 5/26
They finally let us in the house to look! We close in about 3 weeks so the house is nearly done.
Master bathroom and bedroom:
Jeremy and I each get our own sink! (More to clean....but still nice)
Shower and toilet. Exciting!
Our closet. It has a light! I've never had a closet with a light before. I always fumble around in the dark trying to find clothes while Jeremy is still sleeping.
The master tub I will use once a year.
The actual bedroom. I just ordered the blinds a few days ago.
Kitchen:
Nathan and Elizabeth were running laps throughout the house
I just love the white cabinets and dark gray countertops!
We are SO excited about the size of our pantry. They still have to put the doors on.
We have the fridge sitting in the garage ready to go in the this spot!
I've never had an island before. Not sure how to use one.
It will be so nice to have a stainless steel sink again!
The kids wing:
Here is the kids' linen closet and their bathroom.
The kids' bathroom. Again, 2 sinks. They are going to be learning to clean their own sinks! There are still spacers stuck in the back splash. That's what the red dots are.
Nathan posing in his room.
Elizabeth posing in her room. A few rain drops were sprinkling so of course she wore her raincoat.
Outside:
They have our irrigation lines in the front and back yards. The flags are the sprinklers. (The people next door paid extra for the pretty masonry).
The back of the house.
The cutest little guy to ever grace this back yard.
They put rocks in and will be laying sod in the front yard this week. We have to put our own grass in the backyard.
Ok, Kim, what to plant in these rocks?
The side of the house. We even have little sprinklers along there. But what to do in such a tiny 3 foot space? Any ideas Kim?
Snuggle Spots
Any time Jeremy sits down or lays down, a little someone comes over to snuggle. She finds the best spots.
Nathan just wanted to have his picture taken.

Bedtime Bananas
After baths, the kids like to eat "Bedtime Bananas" while listening to stories but BEFORE brushing teeth. It's pretty cute.

Neighborhood Observations
Some people up the house are painting their house. The kids were quite interested. They are quite the neighborhood observers. They notice every little thing that goes on.

Cherries!
Our cherry trees are now giving us cherries! There is one tree of Rainiers and two trees with this kind of cherry. I'm not sure what kind they are, but they're pretty good!

Hot Water Tubs and Obstacle Courses
We made a visit to Papa Ray and Kim's this weekend! Here are some of the highlights.
Papa Ray set up an obstacle course with cones that the kids were supposed to drive around. Nathan just mowed them down on purpose and thought it was hilarious. But then, he did drive around and did a great job!
Elizabeth's turn.
She hit quite a few more cones by accident.
Then, the kids got to play in the Hot Water Tub. I'm not sure when Nathan started using this name, but it stuck.
Elizabeth did GREAT in the water. She played, kicked, blew bubbles. Papa Ray then had her doing bobs and she held her breath underwater for almost 8 seconds! She is ready for swimming lessons.
Nathan and Uncle Brian had quite a splashing game going on. Uncle Brian was SOAKED!
The splashing captured in a photo.
Elizabeth doing bobs! She would even keep her eyes open.
One thing I did not get a picture of was Nathan going underwear to pick items up off the bottom of the hot tub. Papa Ray dumped in a bunch of golf balls and it was Nathan's job as "Lifeguard" to go down and pick them up. He picked up over 40 golfballs! This is one of the things he has to be comfortable doing to move to the next level in swimming lessons.

Birthday Party Fun!
We went to Yakima yesterday for our cousin Aiden's 5th birthday party. His party was at the Kids Castle. That was sure a fun place! All KINDS of slides, ball pits, climbing things, mazes, secret tunnels. Plus, there was a gymnastics area with trampolines and a big jump house! Nathan and Elizabeth had a great time.
Aiden's birthday theme was pirates.
As you can see, pirate cakes will often have black frosting. Nathan's oreos fit in quite well!
A fun slide. (I can't believe how old Nathan looks in this picture)
A cousins picture! Aiden is in the orange.
Elizabeth with Grandma Helen
Nathan with Grandma Helen
A LONG fun trampoline.
Jumping high!
A ball pit
Climbing around!
All the Villager side of the family that came to the party (minus Teri and Aiden...we couldn't find him at that moment).
