Today at preschool, the teacher started reading a book about St. Patrick's Day. There was a picture of a leprechaun on the first page. The teacher talked about his clothes: his pointed hat, his green clothes, and his shiny red shoes.
She pointed out that people don't dress like that. That's something leprechauns do. Elizabeth piped up, "I wear my red shoes!"
Everyone started laughing because it was true. Elizabeth was wearing her sparkly red shoes!
