Preschool Singalong

Nathan's preschool did a short singalong at our local community center. We were supposed to sing at 6. We showed up at 5:50 and they were just starting to sing. Therefore, Nathan was kind of thrown into the group and didn't do well. He kind of stood there in front of everyone. He didn't want to put on his Santa hat and since we didn't get there in time, he didn't get a jingle bell. It was kind of sad. I thought I'd put up the pictures anyway!


Elizabeth liked the tree. It spun around.

Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up. This was as close as Elizabeth would get. Nathan broke down into tears and we left. He's never been a Santa fan!

Big Boots

I think Dad's work boots are a little too big for Elizabeth.

Anything you're doing can become a math problem! Today, the kids were playing in the candy bowl (we still have a lot of Halloween candy.) Elizabeth took out all these candies and so we practiced sorting them into colors and making graphs.

MIss Jenny's adventures

Miss Jenny is Nathan's imaginary friend. I'm just writing down a few things he said today.

"Mom, did you know that Miss Jenny is actually from Texas? She decided to move to Washington because she was just tired of summer, summer, summer all the time! She wanted to move someplace with cold, wind, and some seasons. Plus, she really likes pine trees."

Miss Jenny just got back from a roadtrip. She has lots to say about the places she visited.
