Clay Lewis Invite 3/30-Start and Finish Videos

 Nathan was invited to run at the Clay Lewis Invite at Hanford High School. They took 4 for each event so he was put in the 3200 again. He ran 11:40 this time.

Libby Track Meet 3/27

Elizabeth had her first track meet of the season at Libby. There were 6 teams there. She threw the discus right at 3:30 and I didn't see it. Her next event? Well, it was the very last event of the entire meet. The weather?? So freezing cold it was ridiculous. It was miserable. I spent most of the time sitting the car. Elizabeth and friends would come sit too. The meet was SO long with so many teams. I felt so badly for all the coaches and people helping with the meet.  By the time it was Elizabeth's last event, it was 8:00 and pretty much pitch dark except for the lights in the parking lot. We're hoping most meets will not have so many teams.

They ran the relay with all the teams. Elizabeth's team was the only 8th grade girls team (the only girls team at all!) so they won!  Two girls each ran a 100, Elizabeth ran a 200, and the final girl ran the 400. They ran it in 2:30.

Ram Relays-West Valley HS -March 23

Nathan went to the Ram Relays at West Valley High School in Yakima. They took top 3 for the invite. He was put in the 3200. The weather was typical spring. During the time we were there, it was sunny and decent, and then the clouds rolled in. Apparently, it had poured that morning like it had at our house. During his race, there were just a couple of raindrops and then it started to rain again afterwards. He ran an 11:33.

Richland Jamboree 3/16

Nathan had his first track meet of the season. It was the Richland Jamboree. By some miracle, it was beautiful weather the middle of March. They ran some abnormal races for a high school event. Instead of the 800, they ran a 600. Instead of the 1600, they ran a 1500. Nathan ran the 1500. They had 4 heats of the 1500. Nathan ran in the 2nd heat. The 1st heat was the fast heat.  He ran the 1500 in 4:54. Then, he went and threw the discus.
