Basketball Game #3-Reynolds

Elizabeth's next game took us to Reynolds MS in Pasco. We won 15-6. Elizabeth scored TWO baskets!!!! We were so excited for her. She's #32. 

Basketball Game #2-Enterprise

 Elizabeth's team played Enterprise again for their next game. This time, the game was at Enterprise. They lost 22-19. Elizabeth shot 3 times! She's really making a ton of improvement very quickly. She's getting very good at guarding her person and is working at trying to get the ball as well. She's #32 in the pictures.

Basketball Ball Game #1-Enterprise

Elizabeth decided to try a new sport this year! Basketball!  A lot of her cross country friends were going to play, so she decided to play as well. She had never done much with basketball other than PE and a basketball camp once when she was small. 

She played on the B team. She had 2 games a week and I think I made it to all of them. 

For B team, all players got equal playing time.  Each quarter was 7 minutes. Every 3:30, they would sub new girls in. They stopped the clock no matter what for subs. Therefore, she ended up playing 14 minutes of every game for the most part. 

Here are the photos from game one. Their team played Enterprise at their school and they won 18-16!  It was the first game of the year so everyone was learning. They did not know how to do the jump ball at the beginning.

Elizabeth is # 32. I found it was very hard to to action shots as they would end up very blurry with just my phone. It was unfortunate. However, I did take pictures when they weren't moving much. 

Throughout the season, she was the one that threw in the ball from the sidelines. That was a big job and she did really well finding people who were open to throw it to!  It's funny because in this picture, the ref is one of Nathan's classmates and friends who is also on his track team.

Duck is Dirty

Nathan's favorite book when he was a baby was "Duck is Dirty." We thought we might like to get the book for their little cousin. I tried to find it online and found it! $300!!!!  I had a good laugh about this. I guess it must be out of print.
