Christmas Day

Papa Norm and Gram came down for Christmas afternoon. We had some ham and potatoes and opened presents.

Auntie LeAnne sent WSU hats for Christmas!

Jeremy opening some presents while wearing his new hat.

Elizabeth and Papa Norm opening presents.

Star Wars paper airplane kit!

More unicorns! Thanks Auntie Laura!

Legoes from Auntie Laura!

She started right to work on her unicorn latch hook. It's her first latch hook, but she got the hang of it quickly.

He started putting together his lego set right away as well.

Gram and Elizabeth were dressed as twins! Blue flower shirts and pink sweaters!!

The girls. Too bad I didn't have a pink sweater!

Christmas Eve

We had a Christmas Eve celebration at home. Jeremy had the day off. We had a nice roast dinner, opened presents, and went to church.

Elizabeth got a bunch of new squishemellows that she was super excited about!

Nathan and more lego sets!

Jeremy got me a warm vest. And by warm, I mean warm! It has a battery pack inside of it! The vest heats to low, medium, or high. I can use it on recess duty the next few months while it is very cold and stay toasty warm at least on my core area!!

I got Jeremy a nifty new mask for his woodworking. We did not get a picture.

Yakima Christmas

We went to Yakima for a Christmas with the Wakeman side. Kim made a yummy dinner and we opened presents. I also made sure we took a bunch of family pictures.

For some reason, these 4 people all decided to wear the same color. We thought it was funny so we took a picture.

A girls only photo-Muppy included!

Nathan loves Duct Tape. He got several rolls this year!

Elizabeth had a unicorn Christmas.

Nathan got a ton of legos as usual!! They are his favorite!

Kim gets us such cute ornaments every year!

Kim and the kids made this cute snowman for me! The kids did the painting!! We arrived at their house early, and they snuck into the craft room with Kim to make it for a present for me!

The final project!

Kim also helped make these neat sleds for us!

The minute we got home, Elizabeth finished the unicorn pillow she got for Christmas!

House of Lights

Jeremy didn't put lights on the house this year. Elizabeth decided she was going to make the inside of the house very festive! She decorated the whole living room starting with the tree.

She then took the outside lights and brought them inside!!

The piano looked so pretty!

She even hung some in her bedroom!

A Husky in the House!

Grandma Pam came down to visit for Christmas. We all got some nice new Cougar shirts for Christmas and then she came out in that ugly shirt! I don't think there had ever been a Husky shirt or hat or anything related to the Huskies in our house EVER. Elizabeth said "Such pollution!"

Thanksgiving at Gram's

Jeremy had to work on Thanksgiving and the day after. I took the kids and we drove up to Royal to see the family.

It was a relatively short trip and apparently I didn't do a good job taking pictures. Here's what I did take.
It was a ridiculously windy drive up to the farm. When we got there, it was so cold and windy the kids couldn't play outside. Nathan had wanted so shoot rotten apples, but the weather did not cooperate.

Elizabeth had to prove she could still fit on the motorcycle I got as a 1st birthday present. Yes, me, not her.

The drive home was pretty. Rattlesnake was covered in snow.

We then watched the Cougars lose to the Huskies. Again.

Nathan's first orchestra concert

6th grade had a band and orchestra concert. It was our first chance to see Nathan play his cello. Papa Norm, Grandma Jane, and Grandma Pam were all able to make it down as well.

Here's orchestra setting up.

The 6th grade band played for about 30 minutes while the orchestra sat and listened.

The orchestra then had their chance to play! We could clearly hear Nathan's lower sounding cello since there were only 2 cellos and 1 bass.

Nathan's not a big fan of playing cello. He will probably only play this one year. We certainly enjoyed listening to him though!

A Warm November Day

We had a random warm windy day on the 17th. It got up to 65 so Elizabeth decided it was shorts weather and headed out on a scoot!

New door!

Our hallway is really long and it gets quite dark. Jeremy needed a door for his new workshed. SO, we decided he could take our front door and install it on his workshed. Then, we could get a door with windows so we could have a little light!

Door removal.

Cozy nights in recliners and reading Harry Potter.

The new front door roughed in. Jeremy finished it up nicely the next day! We have a lot more light now!

Bonfire

Jeremy and Nathan went up to Ellensburg for a bonfire. Elizabeth was really sick and I stayed home with her. Jeremy took a few photos. Nath...
