Another Missing Tooth!!

Nathan's front two bottom teeth are now both gone! He lost the second one while eating a peach today.

Here's a flashback to when his front two bottom teeth were the ONLY teeth he had. This picture was exactly 6 years ago!

Dust Devils Game

We went to school night at the Dust Devils game. It was fun! We had great weather. Some dark clouds were rolling in, but the rain stayed away and it was very warm. The Dust Devils played the Eugene Emeralds. The Dust Devils won 1-0.

Laura, Nathan, and Jeremy

A family photo minus Elizabeth. Elizabeth was home with Gram.

Papa Norm was there too!

Nathan with Dusty

Nathan singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" with some other kids during the 7th inning stretch. Nathan is in the very front in the green shirt.

The Dusty Dash! All the kids at the game got to chase the mascot (Dusty) across the outfield. Half of the audience was out there. The kids just kept coming!!!

Silly games with Dad.

They Made Their Own Lunches!!!

I'm getting excited that the kids are becoming more independent.

Here's Elizabeth's sandwich she made by herself.

Here's Nathan's big fruit, vegetable, and almond salad he made. He cut up everything himself! He's not wearing a shirt because his dessert is cherries and he's not allowed to eat cherries with a shirt on (or it has to be his cherry eating shirt, but it's already in the laundry).

A beautiful rainbow

We sure had some crazy weather today. It started out sunny and normal. Then, it got super humid and sunny and the temperature was up to 87. Then, some dark black clouds rolled in and the temperature dropped below 80. Then, it started to rain while we could still see sunshine! It was very cool. The kids had fun riding in the rain and we all watched the beautiful rainbow!

Hike up Flat Top Hill

We made our first family hike up Flat Top Hill! It was super steep and sandy, but Elizabeth was a trooper. About halfway up, she cried and said she needed to take a few rests. The boys made it up to the top and when she saw them up there, she didn't give up and we kept going!

Jeremy took some panoramic shots.

Almost to the top!

She was so proud she made it to the top! It looks like Nathan is going to fall off a cliff, but it's not really how it looks!

We could see all the way to Pasco!

Some more views.

Looking over toward our house which is down in a dip so we couldn't see it.

This hill was STEEP. I think we will attempt Badger Mountain next. It's not nearly as steep, but will be longer.

A Cougar Hunt

We found the cougar Grandma Pam!! Nathan spotted it first.

A pretty pond.

Here are the snacks they got. Elizabeth got ice cream and Nathan got cotton candy.

First Lost Tooth!!!

Nathan lost his first tooth this morning! He's had a lot of exciting things happening lately! He says he's going to write the tooth fairy a letter to ask if he can keep the first tooth. I can't believe how tiny it looks!

Before (a week or so ago when we knew it would be coming out)

After!

Baseball Season is Over

Nathan had his last baseball game. Guess who showed up? His kindergarten teacher. He was THRILLED. It was so nice of her to come!!! He had been so sad he hadn't seen her for a week. I guess now he'll have to be sad again for a little while.

He received a certificate and a trophy at the BBQ a few days later.

Folding in Half

Elizabeth likes to fold in half. Any adults out there able to do this? I guess people must lose their ability to do this around 5 as Nathan can't do this.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party!

We went to the Summer Reading Program kickoff party. It was fun!

Dora made an appearance.

The kids played some Plinko and won stickers and candy.

Nathan's already halfway to his first prize! (A book of course).

Going Fishing!

The boys did so much casting practice at home, they decided to try out some real fishing!

Getting everything ready to go.

A picture by the pond.

Fishing

Climbing Trees

Elizabeth got bored with fishing and there was a castle playground nearby.

Fun exploring.

The boys had still had no luck when we got back from playing on the toys so Elizabeth decided to throw rocks in the pond.

You can see the boys fishing, but they had no luck today. They saw some fish, but none were hungry apparently. Maybe another day!

The start of summertime fun!

School got out yesterday so summertime fun begins! We went and bought things for summertime fun.

A kid sized pool that's been fun so far!

Some slip and sliding of course!

She likes to run and jump in the pool at the bottom.

We also bought fishing poles and gear. The boys practiced casting into the new pool!!

Done with Kindergarten!

Here are a few photos of the last half day of school.

His kindergarten certificate.

The whole class with their certificates.

I made him hold up the sign.

Since we're measuring tree height, we took pictures in front of the trees as well.

Heading out to the last day on the kindergarten bus!

Last day at the kindergarten bus stop!

I was too far away to get a good picture, but here is Nathan hugging his teacher as they left the classroom as 1st graders!
